I Believe I Can Fly

Image
As an eagle that stirs up her nest,  that flutters over her young,  He spread abroad His wings and He took them,  He bore them on His pinions.  Deuteronomy 32:11 John Maxwell says that, "To succeed in life we must stay within our strength zone, but continually move outside our comfort zone." It is almost impossible to accomplish something of significance inside your comfort zone.  We dread moving outside our comfort zone because of the "What ifs".  We resist it because we like to feel safe and secure.  We don't want to look foolish, or fail, and fall flat on our faces. Complacency kills passion and reduces us to average.  Like the eagle, God has created us for greatness. We are not to live like the chicken in the barnyard heads down making a whole lot of noise but going nowhere fast.  Or, to be like a buzzard that indulges in what was and taking our pleasure in dead things. But God has prepared us to soar like the eagle, to fly ...

Follow Instructions!

He said, "Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you." A Heart of Gratitude

Image
But I am like an olive tree growing in God's Temple.  I trust God's love forever and ever.  God, I will thank you forever for what you have done.   With those who worship you,  I will trust you because you are good.  Psalms 52:8-9 Song of Inspiration:  Thank You Lord -- Walter Hawkins There is one thing that we can always trust in and that is God' unfailing love.  His love is precious, tender and merciful.  It never ends, never changes, and is always enduring. There is absolutely nothing that can separate us from His love.  And because of this great love that He has for us we can trust Him to be there and to add blessings to our lives.  Today is a day of GRATITUDE.  Let's thank God in all things as the bible says in all things give thanks.  Remember it could be better; but, it could be much worse.  Give God praise today in the midst of the disappointment, fear, frustration, pain, sickness, lack, or what...
