A Heart of Gratitude

But I am like an olive tree growing in God's Temple.  I trust God's love forever and ever.  God, I will thank you forever for what you have done.   With those who worship you,  I will trust you because you are good.  Psalms 52:8-9

 There is one thing that we can always trust in and that is God' unfailing love.  His love is precious, tender and merciful.  It never ends, never changes, and is always enduring. There is absolutely nothing that can separate us from His love.  And because of this great love that He has for us we can trust Him to be there and to add blessings to our lives.  Today is a day of GRATITUDE.  Let's thank God in all things as the bible says in all things give thanks.  Remember it could be better; but, it could be much worse.  Give God praise today in the midst of the disappointment, fear, frustration, pain, sickness, lack, or what ever you may be facing.  Our amazing God is right there with you.  He has not forgotten you.  Present to Him a heart of gratitude, and thank Him right where you are.

This poem blessed me this morning.  Meditate on it throughout today and let's worship our God with gratitude and thank Him for His love!

Blessing

 Blesss me, Heavenly Father, 
Forgive my erring ways,
Grant me strength to serve Thee,
Put purpose in my days...
Give me understanding
Enough to make me kind
S I may judge all people 
With my heart and not my mind...
And teach me to be patient
In everything I do,
Content to trust your wisdom
And to follow after You...
And help me when I falter
And hear me when I pray
And receive me in Thy Kingdom
To dwell with Thee some day.
