You Are My Strength
Meditation: Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry: for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

It is not unusual to experience a difficult season in our lives. It could be sickness, death, loss of job, relationship challenges, and the list goes on and on. It is during this type of season that we may find ourselves overwhelmed with fear, disappointment, discouragement, and confusion. You may find yourself asking "WHY ME?".
Although the Jews were in captivity, God allowed Nehemiah to find favor in his very difficult predicament. Nehemiah's situation did not change immediately but his attitude concerning his situation changed. He found favor in the king's sight and leveraged that favor to rebuild the walls of the city. Nehemiah received this favor after praying to God. God answered his prayer and in chapter 8 we find the people of Israel rejoicing as they celebrate their accomplishments.
Always invite God into your situation in prayer. He will give you wisdom and grace that is sufficient. He will also give you His joy that will enable you to be empowered and to move forward in His strength. No matter where you are and what you are going through God's strength will find you and help you.
Love you to LIFE!
