I Am The Clay
Isaiah 64:8 - But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Sometimes circumstances and situations in life can appear to be quite overwhelming. Your faith is challenged and sometimes shaken. I remember when I received a cancer diagnosis in May of 2012, my faith personally was challenged and shaken. It was a challenge for me to believe that God was able to heal me and that He would. Have you ever experienced anything that caused your faith to be tested? If not, keep on living. Most of us will have our faith tested in our lifetime. During the test, it is a tactic of the enemy to cause you to doubt God and to begin to speak words of doubt and fear into your situation. Our words have power and they can bring healing, and deliverance or they can create a snare in our lives.
Be reminded that God is our Father and He loves us with an everlasting love. We are like the clay that belongs to a potter. The potter forms the clay as he pleases into the designed piece of pottery. When he creates a piece, it is his responsibility to take care of that which he has created. Sometimes, he may paint the piece of pottery or add jewels or other designs. If he likes it, he may keep it for himself, or sell it for profit. If he does not like it, he discards the design and starts over.
We are truly the work of a great potters hand (Jehovah). It is truly more to you and I than meets the eye. God has created us with purpose and destiny! Although, we are in the earth and we see what is taking place in the natural, there is a supernatural (spiritual) realm that exists as well. In the spiritual realm angels are doing battle on your behalf as the Lord protects the work of His hand (you and I). Regardless of what you are facing, don't lose heart. You can always depend on the integrity of the potter to take care of what He has created.
I am a PINK Treasure and I am Living Life on PURPOSE!
Love you to LIFE,
Deborah
