JEHOVAH-ROPHE "My Healer"

2 Corinthians 4: 7 - 10 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpasssing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. Today is a brand new day! Let's thank God for our yesterdays, today and the grace to get through our tomorrows. I was reflecting earlier this morning on my first visit with my surgeon. On that day, my son drove me and my sister met us there. The doctor explained to me what was happening on the inside of my breast.  Cancer was found in several places in my left breast and also one lymph node. At that point, he was ready to show me the results from the ultra sound and MRI. I sat there for a few seconds while he waited for me at the door. My sister proceeded to move to the door as ...

Great day to all our Pink Treasures, those who love them, and those who desire to encourage them! On this past week, I had the privilege to talk to so many new people. I met many of them at a Pink Sunday event where I had an opportunity to share nuggets on "Overcoming Fear". While others were not face to face meetings, but we met through text messages, inbox messages, and phone calls. Some of these faces were rejoicing and walking in their healing, but others were sharing how they or a loved one just received their unfavorable diagnosis. There are hundreds of women being diagnosed e...

FAITH THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS

Matthew 17:20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you." Listen to this song and allow it bless you: Israel Houghton- "Nothing is Impossible" Faith that moves a mountain is birthed from our relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Before we can speak to any mountain, and expect results, there is a prerequisite  First, we must believe that He is God and without Him nothing that is made was made. We must also confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God has raise Him from the dead. This will lead us to a new life of salvation and begin our relationship with Jesus as our Savior by faith. Today is Faith-filled Friday. Let's take today and reevaluate our relationship with God. If you don't know Him, I encourage you to make Him your Lord and Sav...

YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR

Romans 8:37-39 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present or to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. At the time I was diagnosed with  breast cancer, I was already a believer. I accepted Christ (for real) and was baptized in 1990, so I had been a believer for quite a while. I was attending church each Sunday and mid-week bible study on Wednesday. I loved the Lord and I was confident of His love for me. Nevertheless, during the time of the cancer diagnosis, I became frustrated and confused. The plan of the enemy is always to steal, kill, and destroy and that was his plan for me. His desire was to steal my hope, kill my joy, and destroy my life. Thanks be to God that I was encouraged from the word and moved from a place of frustration a...

GET THOSE DIFFICULT THINGS TO MOVE!

FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY Mark 9:29    So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." In the book of Mark chapter 9: 17 - 29, there is a story about a man and his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms. The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."  The bible says that Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to come out of him and enter him no more. The spirit responded by leaving and the boy was healed, delivered, and set free. Jesus, when asked by the disciples why they were unable to cast out the spirit, said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." This scripture is our reference for "Fast and Furious Wednesda...

WHAT ABOUT TOMORROW?

Matthew 6:34   Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Many of you may feel just like I felt upon receiving a cancer diagnosis. The day that I received a breast cancer diagnosis was the Friday before Mother's Day in 2012. I said to the radiologist team, "What an early day Mother's Day surprise". It truly was not what I wanted to hear. Once you hear the word cancer, often your head begins to race right along with your heart. This was indeed my experience. But later as I began to process what was taking place, I heard "One Day At A Time". I would have to take this journey one day at a time, trust God and so will you. The word worry means "anxiety, distractions, or overly concerned". Worry can actually distract your mind and eventually lead to stress. Stress has the ability to cause additional health challenges.God encourages us not to worry, and not to stress but to trust Him. I encou...

"TODAY IS MIRACULOUS MONDAY!" Share your personal miracles and miracles from the word today!

Great day to all our Pink Treasures and those that love them. Last week was an awesome week with the launch of the blog. It was truly a surreal experience and I am so glad that we could share it together. Today, I am going to take a few moments and give some directives as how we will move forward together with our blog. First of all, in case someone new is here..... My name is Deborah Tulay and I love my Sisters! I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 18, 2012. I have received chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. And I will have a second surgery in the summer of this year. I am on a mission to Live Life on PURPOSE and that involves completing the assignment God has given me and that assignment includes YOU. I am to be an advocate both in the spiritual and in the natural for women that have been diagnosed with any type of cancer and the people who love them. I ask you to help me to fulfill this assignment by passing this blog information to other women. It is our goal to ...

GOD'S MEDICINE

While in the process of believing God for my healing, God began to remind me of the story of the woman with the issue of blood. This woman had been sick for twelve long years, went to many physicians, and spent all she had. But instead of getting better she grew worse. She had heard of Jesus and when she saw He was near, she joined in the crowd. She said to herself, "If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole." She pressed her way through the crowd and reached in to touch His Garment. The bible says that immediately the bleeding issue stopped, and that she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. Jesus said to her "Your faith hath made thee whole; go in peace." (Mark 5 25-34) GOD'S MEDICINE God's medicine is His word and it is activated by prayer, and faith. The woman with the issue of blood had lost all hope. The doctor's had done all they could and were unable to provide a cure for her condition.   She heard about the healin...

TRUSTING GOD WHEN LIFE HURTS

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 13. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. On today, I hear in my spirit the crying out from the earth of those that are finding it difficult to trust God during this journey. They are overwhelmed by it all. It feels as if it is too much to bear! The diagnosis, the poking, the prodding, the testing, the examinations, the poisoning, the burning, the cutting and then the follow-ups. Sometimes you just want to scream...and sometimes you do...silently. In moments like these, we realize our inability to fix what is going on with us. At this time, we must take the creation back to its creator. God is our creator and He knows our end from our beginning. He said before He formed us in our mother's womb, he knew us. And we are reminded tha...

CONFESSION OF A VICTOR

When facing a cancer diagnosis, sometimes you may feel like a victim. It's as if your body has somehow betrayed you and lead you kicking and screaming into this battle. It was the end of the year in 2009, when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did my best to be there for her physically, as well as, offer words of encouragement. I stood in prayer and believed God for her healing. Her treatment included chemo, radiation, and eventually a lumpectomy to remove the lump. You can only imagine how I felt as I sat in the doctors office on May 18, 2012 and received THAT report. For a moment I could not believe it.... The  diagnosis was multi-centric breast cancer. This was the cute way to say it was found in multiple places in my breast and had invaded at least one lymph node. Beginning on that day, I felt a humongous range of varying emotions. One of those emotions persuaded me that I was a victim to cancer. But God ministered to me through His word; although I may be facing ...

BREAKING THE CHAINS OF FEAR

When I first received the cancer diagnosis, I was okay at the beginning, then I became gripped by fear. My sister had been on a breast cancer journey for over a year, and now I was joining her. When most people hear the "C" word it raises up something on the inside that you have never experienced before. I often say, "It is a different story when cancer is in YOUR body".  My concern became that breast cancer would literally take my life. Fear had a hold on my mind and I could not seem to shake it. But God! I knew that if I did not change my thinking, the power of fear could possible cause me irreparable harm even death. What ever you think and meditate upon will eventually happen in your life. The power of life and death is in the tongue. If you think on dying or remaining sick  long enough, you will begin to speak it out of your mouth and your body will respond to what you speak. If you're struggling under the power fear today, these  nuggets will release you ...

Releasing the balloons

A  Celebration of  Pink Treasures   When it comes to cancer diagnosis there are three types of women and they are truly celebrated here today. Today we are profiling one of each: One the Journey-- Debra from Atlanta, Ga. Debra was initially diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer; later her oncologist found out she also had Stage 1 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Her best memory is when her husband, children, family, and church family rallied around her to show love. Her worst memory is that her college classmates and extended family seemed to shy away from her as if she was contagious. Today Debra says, "I feel GREAT"! She says she has one surgery down and one to go. She also reminds herself that "There's NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD!!" Walking in her healing-- Jeanette from Charlotte, NC. Jeanette was diagnosed with Bi-lateral Breast Cancer. She underwent chemotherapy and has had a double mastectomy. Her best memory is the release she felt on the last ...
