We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
Great day to all our Pink Treasures, those who love them, and those who desire to encourage them! On this past week, I had the privilege to talk to so many new people. I met many of them at a Pink Sunday event where I had an opportunity to share nuggets on "Overcoming Fear". While others were not face to face meetings, but we met through text messages, inbox messages, and phone calls. Some of these faces were rejoicing and walking in their healing, but others were sharing how they or a loved one just received their unfavorable diagnosis. There are hundreds of women being diagnosed every day and they need our support.
Someone asked me why I do what I do.... Why PINK TREASURES? My response was "That's who I am." This is the assignment that the Father has given me to fulfill in the earth; I know this. When a woman receives a cancer or any other life threatening diagnosis, there are so many emotions that she experiences. God allowed me to feel this pain. The constant emotional roller-coaster ride as a result of a breast cancer diagnosis. The feelings of helplessness from family and friends. People tiring of you "Going Through". The changes in skin color, hair, nails, teeth, eyes...everything that would normally make a woman feel beautiful...is no longer beautiful. Head bald, skin dark....and this sick feeling in your stomach that you just can't seem to get rid of. The headaches, feeling light headed, burning and tingling in your nose, your nose running all the time, nose drips (hold your head down and oops), numbness in your hands and feet, pain in your pelvic area...and the list goes on and on! I am sure you could add a few to my list!
My Miraculous Monday Testimony is that God would take someone like me from York, SC and ignite a fire, and a passion to begin a work that will literally change lives of women all over the world. Believe me, it was no where in my mind, I could not see myself doing what I am doing, and I know that I did not think this up. It was as if God downloaded this app into my life. The burden I have for my sisters and the passion to help them is beyond my ability to articulate. It is a God idea; not just a great idea. What is released here on the daily blog is a component of a much bigger vision that God has given for Pink Treasures. We will share more about the vision soon! But what I love most about it is "It includes YOU!"
Together we can accomplish this assignment! Our sisters need our help. God created us to be change agents in the earth and impact the world! Let's rally together and cause change to occur like never before! Together Each Achieves More! TEAM Pink Treasures!
