JEHOVAH-ROPHE "My Healer"
2 Corinthians 4: 7 - 10 But we have this treasure in jars of
clay to show that this all-surpasssing power is from God and not from
us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but
not in despair, persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not
destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so
that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
Today is a brand new day! Let's thank God for our yesterdays, today and the grace to get through our tomorrows. I was reflecting earlier this morning on my first visit with my surgeon. On that day, my son drove me and my sister met us there. The doctor explained to me what was happening on the inside of my breast. Cancer was found in several places in my left breast and also one lymph node. At that point, he was ready to show me the results from the ultra sound and MRI. I sat there for a few seconds while he waited for me at the door. My sister proceeded to move to the door as well. Finally, I told him I did not want to see the results. They both had puzzled looks on their faces. I told them, I had already seen enough films, scans, MRIs, and read enough reports. I definitely did not want to see any more. They had no way of knowing my conversation with the Father that morning and the level of trust He was calling me to. I had prayed and laid it all out on the line. In my prayer, I told God that I believe it is He alone that heals. I gave my body to Him that morning and believed that I would receive my healing. God has given doctors the ability to address symptoms through medications and therapies, but He alone remains our healer. Hallelujah! I have placed my total trust and confidence in Him and I am yet holding on to His promises.

Jehovah Rophe: My Healer
God reveals Himself by His nature. Twelve names are attributed to God's nature, one being Jehovah Rophe, meaning "My Healer." God is the one who heals and He shows His willingness to do this throughout Scriptures. His name as healer was first revealed in Exodus 15:26. God promises His people that He will not put the diseases that were on the Egyptians on them. At this time, God instructs them to heed His voice, do what is right in His sight, listen, and keep His statutes. In Psalm 107:20 it reads, "He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
God sent His son Jesus to bring healing and deliverance from the ploys of the enemy. Today increase your faith in God and believe Him to be Jehovah Rophe in your Life!
I am a Pink Treasure and I am Living Life on PURPOSE!
Love you to LIFE!
