Water Walker
Inspiration and Meditation

Meditate: Matthew 15:29 - 31 And He said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
We have heard this story told, preached, and even sang. Peter walked on the water and because he feared his surrounding conditions he began to sink. The wind was contrary even before Peter got out of the boat. Their boat was being tossed by the waves of the sea. But because his focus was on his master coming towards their ship walking on the sea, he was not moved by his surroundings. He lost his focus and the bible says that he saw the wind. We know that you cannot see the wind only it's effects. However, circumstances can cause us to begin to see images of gloom and doom and respond because of what we see (imagine).
I encourage you beloved, regardless of how hard the wind blows in your life, keep your focus on Jesus. He has control over everything in your life.
Once they both got into the ship the bible says the wind ceased. Allow Jesus to get in your boat, in your circumstances, and your situation. Your problem could be very difficult; beyond what you can see a clear resolution,. But our God, who controls the waves, the wind, and the sea, can handle your problem.
Stop looking to "See" the wind, but keep your focus on Jesus. Now ask Him to get involved in your situation and keep your eyes focused on Him. Get out of your boat and believe Him for something you've had a hard time believing before. Today, become a Water Walker. Get out of the boat and do something today that you have feared stretching your faith. God will sustain you and cause the winds and the storms to cease.
