CONFESSION OF A VICTOR
When facing a cancer diagnosis, sometimes you may feel like a victim. It's as if your body has somehow betrayed you and lead you kicking and screaming into this battle. It was the end of the year in 2009, when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did my best to be there for her physically, as well as, offer words of encouragement. I stood in prayer and believed God for her healing. Her treatment included chemo, radiation, and eventually a lumpectomy to remove the lump. You can only imagine how I felt as I sat in the doctors office on May 18, 2012 and received THAT report. For a moment I could not believe it.... The diagnosis was multi-centric breast cancer. This was the cute way to say it was found in multiple places in my breast and had invaded at least one lymph node. Beginning on that day, I felt a humongous range of varying emotions. One of those emotions persuaded me that I was a victim to cancer. But God ministered to me through His word; although I may be facing a health challenge I am NO victim. And this word is for anyone today that is facing a cancer journey or any other health challenge. Know that you are not a victim!
God changed my perspective on what I call "My Journey" by reminding me of the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Because they refused King Nebuchadnezzar's command to bow and worship an idol, what they were facing could possibly result in their death. And with the threat of being thrown into the blazing furnace of fire their faith remained strong. They continued to refused to bow down to any other God. Their faith allowed them to stand on God's promises that He is a deliver. They believed that God was able to deliver them and we must believe that as well. And although they went into the furnace, when they came out they did not even smell like smoke! Like us, WE ARE COMING OUT AND WE WON'T LOOK LIKE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN THROUGH! We must refuse to bow to cancer, do not allow it to become an idol god in our lives. Believe God to be our defense and our deliver. That is why today we can say today, "I am VICTORIOUS"! "I am not a victim, but I am a VICTOR"!

CONFESSION OF A VICTOR
By the grace of God Almighty I am a victor.
I am not a victim to cancer or any other thing that tries to overtake me.
I have been diagnosed with cancer, but cancer does not control me.
It can not take my peace, my joy, or my ability to love and to be loved.
I will live each day with expectancy to overcome cancer because God is a deliverer.
God is on my side regardless of what I face, because He promised to never leave me nor forsake me.
I trust God for my healing, and I am the healed of the Lord.
I trust God because He knows my end from my beginning and has numbered the hairs on my head.
I will live each day, one day at a time, walking in victory.
I will not be bound by fear or intimidation of cancer, but will walk in courage as a victor.
I declare and decree the blessings of the Lord over my life today and everyday as I walk in VICTORY!
Make this confession over your life everyday and watch God change things!
On last night Pink Treasures, I received a bouquet of roses from a beautiful group of sisters--B4A Social Fellowship that have partnered with Pink Treasures. The roses literately blew me away because they were so prophetic. There were three colors..dark pink, light pink, and white. The dark pink represents those on "The Journey", the light pink represents those walking in their healing, and the white represents those that have received their wings. Some of them were beautiful, some were frayed, and some had not yet budded. That was symbolic of each of us. We are different but yet we are all the same, Beautiful, Loved, Valued, and Important.
Thanks Adrienne Castle and B4A DIVAS! We at Pink Treasures love you! We are so grateful for your act of kindness and for your prayers.
I am a Pink Treasure and I am Living Life on PURPOSE!
Love you to LIFE!
Deborah
