Sometimes, our lives can be seen as a staircase.  Life may seem to go straight up from one situation to another without a break in between.  Then in other instances, there is a moment of rest before having to face the next issue.  Or as in the case of the winding staircase, we are able to stand and look at what seems to lie ahead before actually engaging the climb.  But in cases such as this, we are unable to see from our location the condition of the stairs.  We can  see the condition of the stairs and what may be on each step only as we climb...

FEAR is something that all of us will face at sometimes in our lives. On yesterday someone said to me, "Please pray for me, I feel the spirit of fear is trying to overtake me." I could have agreed with her in prayer and sent her on her way, but I felt led of the Holy Spirit not to just pray with her but to share with her some spiritual truths. This ammunition would help her be prepared if feelings of fear came back to visit. So before praying, I shared a few spiritual nuggets with her.
