In Pursuit of PEACE - Part I
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.
Colossians 3:15 NIV
In the world in which we live, everything is at a fast pace. No one desires to wait or is willing to wait for anything. This state of "hurry up" has created chaos in many of our lives. We make hasty decisions, we are not cognizant of the use of our time, and we over extend ourselves which leads to a place of mediocrity and the loss of a very important part of our lives.... PEACE.
A state of peace is essential for health and prosperity in our lives. It is as important as the air we breathe. It is especially important, when we are focusing on walking in divine health, receiving our healing (physically, spiritually, or emotionally), or receiving our increase. It is vital that we rid our minds of strife, contention, or stress and receive God's peace. Our choices and decisions will become better aligned with God's purposes when we operate in peace. There is a distinct relationship between where we are presently and the decisions that we have made. Destiny moves with every decision that we make. Let's choose to operate from a place of PEACE and be led by wisdom from the word of God as He speaks to us and refuse to continue to be misled by our emotions because of the lack of peace.
I'm leaving you at peace. I'm giving you my own peace. I'm not giving it to you as the world gives. So don't let your hearts be troubled, and don't be afraid.
