A Celebration of Pink Treasures
When it comes to cancer diagnosis there are three types of women and they are truly celebrated here today. Today we are profiling one of each:
One the Journey--Debra from Atlanta, Ga. Debra was initially diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer; later her oncologist found out she also had Stage 1 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Her best memory is when her husband, children, family, and church family rallied around her to show love. Her worst memory is that her college classmates and extended family seemed to shy away from her as if she was contagious. Today Debra says, "I feel GREAT"! She says she has one surgery down and one to go. She also reminds herself that "There's NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD!!"
Walking in her healing--Jeanette from Charlotte, NC. Jeanette was diagnosed with Bi-lateral Breast Cancer. She underwent chemotherapy and has had a double mastectomy. Her best memory is the release she felt on the last day of receiving chemotherapy. Her worst memory after her diagnosis is when she experienced the loss of her sister due to breast cancer. Today Jeanette says, "I feel GREAT, actually better than before the diagnosis"! I feel Alive, Vibrate, and Free!
Received her wings--Ruthie from York, SC. Ruthie was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. Her sister said she accepted her illness and never lost hope. She also shared that Ruthie always kept the faith. In her final days, she remembers asking her how she felt about dying and Ruthie said God's Will, be done...from Carlotta, Rock Hill, SC
This is officially TPT Day. "THINK PINK TREASURES" Day. Let's remember those that have gone on, and cherish those that are left behind. Do a good deed, pray, and love a Pink Treasure today!
Although you're on a cancer journey you don't have to walk alone.
Have a Purpose-filled Day!
Deborah
Father, I thank you for your love, your grace and your mercy. I thank you that there is nothing impossible with you.I thank you that you love your daughters, that you will never leave nor forsake them. I lift up every woman that has received a cancer diagnosis. Father I thank you for her healing. Where there is pain cause pain to cease. Where there is fear Lord send your peace. I thank you for hearing the cries of my sister today and meeting her every need. In Jesus name, Amen
