Women's Cancer Support Blog "Pink Treasures" Launch in 3 Days! Get Ready APRIL 15, 2013 TPT DAY!
Ladies as I write this tears are streaming down my face. I so love my sisters!
On Monday, April 15, 2013 God is releasing a blog "PINK TREASURES" that will represent the KINGDOM in a new non-conventional way. We will go into homes that we may never physically visit. We will sit on bedsides and give comfort to women we may never physically hug.We will speak to women we may otherwise never have the opportunity to meet. We will share inspiring testimonies and stories that may save someones life. We will listen, inspire, uplift, love, encourage, and pray for women all over the world.
We are "PINK TREASURES", women of every religion, color, social status and from every nation that have received a cancer diagnosis and are now on a journey. And for the women that love them and have a desire to stand with them. A cancer diagnosis can cause an excessive amount of depression, stress, fear and anxiety. A study shows that one out of every four women diagnosed with cancer suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD. It is a psychiatric disorder which occurs when a person has experienced or witnessed a life-threatening event. This can be very debilitating and can greatly affect a woman's recovery. I still remember the faces of the women where I received chemo as well as those at radiation. Many of them were sad, hopeless and full of despair.
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 18, 2012, almost one year ago, I had moments of stress, fear, anxiety, and depression. Thoughts of death literally gripped my life. I know that without the love and support of my family and women God sent to walk with me on this journey; I would not be the woman I am today. They encouraged me to fight with prayer, the word of God, love, hope and good deeds that I can never repay.
There are so many women facing a cancer diagnosis and they desperately need our support. Let's call Monday, April 15, TPT DAY! (THINKING PINK TREASURES) On that day, we will honor women that are on the cancer journey today, women that are walking in their healing, and women that have received their angel wings and are rejoicing with the Father.
Ladies, Let's take Sisterhood to the next level. Commit to stand with your sister, you may not know her, may have never met her, but she is your sister. I Look Forward to reading Your Words of Inspiration, Hope and Encouragement beginning on Monday, April 15, 2013. Have a purpose-filled day!
