Victory ROAR! (Rise Overtake And Recover)

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Lion of Judah -- Shana Wilson   Meditate on: I Peter 5:8 - 9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. Have you ever been in a situation and you asked the question, "Why me?"  Or, you find yourself saying, bad things always happen to me. You begin to experience evil forebodings although there is absolutely nothing to fear. You live a life of expectancy.... but, not for the blessings of the Lord. Your thoughts for expectancy have become "what's going to happen to me next?" These thoughts are not from God but they are from the enemy. Satan knows that if he can get you to believe that he has power over your body, your finances, your marriage, your children, or your relationships, then...

HE is The Great Physician!

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Broken But I'm Healed -- Byron Cage Meditate on:   Mark 1:34 Then He healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew Him. On the journey to health and wellness, we must first cross a mountain called unbelief. This mountain is often the only thing standing between sickness and our healing. This unbelief, if not properly dealt with, will keep you tossed about between thoughts of complete healing and remaining sick. Jesus backed up His claim of being the Messiah by healing the sick. Later, His followers used similar miracles to verify the message of Jesus Christ. Not only did healing demonstrate Christ's divine power over disease and infirmity, it revealed God's heart of compassion toward His people. The Great Physician and the apostles healed people  with: Disabilities or conditions from birth. Matthew 9:1-8 Diseases of a permanent or semi-...

The Game Changer

Listen to:   Everything Has Changed -- Youthful Praise Meditate on:   1 Kings 17:15-16 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. (Read 1 Kings 17: 1-16)    Have you ever felt like throwing in the towel? You felt that life was just too difficult. And, instead of getting better things seemed to grow worse. It was too hard and you just could not see your way out. These feelings often occur when we are on our journey to health and wellness. And, they also may occur when we are dealing with issues in our marriages, with our jobs, or with our children.  Life happens to us all at some time; there is no way to escape, and no one is exempt. The issue is not what happens to you in life, but how you respond to what happens to you in life. In today's scripture, we see a woman w...

I Am an OVERCOMER!

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Called to Be--- Jonathan Nelson Meditate on:   Revelations 12:11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. The word overcomer is defined as "someone who overcomes". And, the word   overcome is defined  as "to get the better of a struggle or conflict, to conquer, defeat, or to overcome the enemy".  Becoming an overcomer is a process. It does not just happen; you have to become engaged in the fight. The overcomer is someone who in the midst of a struggle, or a conflict decides to fight, defeat, and to conquer the enemy. Understand that trials and tribulations are a part of everyone's life and non of us are exempt. Sometimes we look at other's lives and we think..."They got it made", "I wish my life, my marriage, or my children was like that". But, we don't know what goes on in a person's life beh...

He Holds My World

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   You Hold My World in Your Hands-- Israel Houghton Meditate on:   Psalm 121:1-2 I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. The bible says that He that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. This scripture should give us peace in knowing that God is always on the throne, always alert, all seeing, and all knowing. Sometimes, when we face trials or tribulations in life, we feel helpless and so alone. It feels like a never ending story. We receive one report and before we can wrap our mind around that, we are faced with yet another. How many times have we or others compared our situation to the bible person of Job. Sometimes if we are honest with ourselves, we become tired and a little discouraged. Believe me,  I know, I have been there. But I thank God for words that encouraged, songs that inspired, and prayers that moved me back to a place of trust...

A New Prescription

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Psalm 62  Song By Aaron Keyes Meditate on:  Come unto me all ye who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. It is just after midnight and I have already slept and rested for eight hours. I did not feel that tired or sleepy when I laid down. I have literally been in bed, intermittently slept off and on with spats of TV or just quiet thoughts, meditation on God and His word, but mostly sleeping. Sometimes we don't realize the one thing our body needs or requires is simply rest. As I continue to recover from my DIEP reconstruction surgery, the one thing that God is ministering to me most over and over is the importance of REST. We must make time and allow our body to rest. During times of rest, we are refreshed and our bodies are able to heal and be restored.  How often do you continue to care for others when truly they should be caring for you? You continue to push yourself  neglecting signals from your b...

Preparation Time Is Not Wasted Time

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  I'm Still Standing-- Bishop Morton Meditate on:   Psalm 119:104-105 Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. When Adam and Eve were in the Garden of  Eden, they lived in a place of bliss. It was very beautiful and everything they had need of was available to them. All of this came to a screeching halt on the day Eve believed the deception of the enemy. Once she believed the words of the enemy, she responded with a corresponding action. She ate the fruit of the tree and then she gave to her husband and he also ate. This is known as the Fall of Man and it occurred when man believed the word of the enemy to be truth although it was contrary to the word of God. It vital on our journey that we spend time with God and read His word. Become very familiar with healing scriptures so that you will know what God says about YOU, your healing, your de...

I Will Rejoice And Be Glad!

TODAY'S INSPIRATION: Listen to:   I Will Rejoice -- William Murphy Meditate on: Habakkuk 3:18-19 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. It is so good to be back... Missed you!!! Yes, I am feeling better each day! (Thanks for all your prayers and words of encouragement) Love you!  XOXO This morning my thoughts reflect on a hymn we sang in church when I was a little girl called Blessed Assurance . The chorus is "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Savior, all the day long. This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Savior all the day long. This song is about the blessed confidence we  have when we trust in Jesus. On this morning at 4:00am, I want to take a moment to bless the Lord. He deserves all the glory, honor, and praise. If I had 10,000 tongues, I could not praise Him enough. I invite you, right now to s...

Surgery Day! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Image
Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: Need Your Glory--James Fortune  Meditate on: But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! This powerful scripture shares inspiration from the heart of God. He wants us to know how much he cares about us. He truly loves us! Always remember, regardless of what our trial may be; we must continue to trust God. He said that His grace, (favor, loving-kindness and mercy) is enough. It is sufficient against any danger and will enable us to bear all trouble with strength!...

Simple, but so POWERFUL!

Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Freedom -- Eddie James Meditate on:  II Corinthians 5:9 Therefore, whether we are at home [on earth away from Him] or away from home [and with Him], we are constantly ambitious and strive earnestly to be pleasing to Him. As we celebrate FREEDOM today, remember those who have, what many would consider, lost their battle to sickness, infirmities, or disease on this side. But in reality, they have not lost but have truly won! They have received a greater reward than they could have ever hoped to receive in the earth. Those that die in the Lord have a great reward in eternity.   After receiving the breast cancer diagnosis, I was sharing a thought the enemy planted in my mind with my pastor. The enemy told me I was going to die.... My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and I was diagnosed in May of 2012. He told me that although I was the o...

Delayed but Not Denied

Inspirational Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Step Aside -- Yolanda Adams   Meditate on:  Daniel 10:12 Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words. My sister's healing has definitely taken longer than we had anticipated. She was diagnosed in 2010 with breast cancer and since that time she has been in a battle. There has been two bouts of chemotherapy, two surgeries, and one cycle of radiation therapy. She began to experience pain several months ago in her arm. This pain went on for months with little if any relief. Last week she had an ultra sound and biopsy. The doctors determined there were cancer cells present and have begun a new regiment of chemotherapy. I am still praying and believing God for healing in my siste...

It's Time to PUSH....Pray Until Something Happens!

Blessed be the name of the Lord. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into Him and they are safe! I thank God that I am in His safety. Take a moment and thank Him right now that YOU are in His Safety! Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: I'm in His Safety-- Lecresia  Campbell Meditate on: Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand] The Lord our God is great and greatly to be praised! Today I had my pre-op for my surgery on next Monday, July 8. I trust the Lord and I know that He is in control. I am in prayer mode and I ask you to join me as I pray for others that are going into surgery, chemo, radiation, and other types of medical procedures as well as myself. The rest of this week our focus will be on prayer and spiritual warfare. I know Jehovah Rophe is our healer.... Hallelujah. It's time to PUSH... Pray Un...
