Delayed but Not Denied
Inspirational Inspiration and Meditation
Listen to: Step Aside -- Yolanda Adams
Meditate on: Daniel 10:12 Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words.
My sister's healing has definitely taken longer than we had anticipated. She was diagnosed in 2010 with breast cancer and since that time she has been in a battle. There has been two bouts of chemotherapy, two surgeries, and one cycle of radiation therapy. She began to experience pain several months ago in her arm. This pain went on for months with little if any relief. Last week she had an ultra sound and biopsy. The doctors determined there were cancer cells present and have begun a new regiment of chemotherapy.
I am still praying and believing God for healing in my sister's body. God is able to heal, deliver, and set her free. As I pray for her, and believe God for her healing, I also believe God for total deliverance in my body and others that are on a journey to health and wellness.
We are two sisters each with husbands, children, and grandchildren and both of us were diagnosed with breast cancer at age 50. But, I declare and decree that what the enemy meant for bad, God is turning it around for our good. God has this and it is working for our good and for His glory Hallelujah!
Even cancer must bow at the name of Jesus. So regardless of what it looks like we will continue to pray and believe God! Prayer is our conversation with God in the name of His son Jesus.
Sometimes when we pray and believe God, we may not get the expected answer. Answered prayer may not come at the time we desperately await to hear from God. And it may not be answered in the way we hope to receive it. But, we must continue to believe God. Sometimes the answer to our prayer may be held up, but we must believe by faith that it is on the way. It is vital that we stay prayerful and continue to pray. As we pray, we can have confidence that He will watch over His word to confirm it in our lives. Healing is part of the plan of redemption and it has been purchased by the blood of Jesus. By t. he stripes he took on His back, "We are Healed"!
As we pray, let's lift up one another!
Follow Daniel's example from Daniel 10. He continued to pray even when it appeared that God was not going to answer his prayer. Sometimes it is a "Not Yet", or a "Wait". But when you pray continue to believe God. Beloved your prayers are heard by God and they may be delayed but they are not denied. Don't quit! Don't throw in the towel! Don't stop praying!
Pray in faith and watch God change things!
