You're Stronger Than You Think

Meditate on: Mark 16:17 And these signs will follow those who believe. In My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
I heard a story years ago about a circus. It was during the middle of winter and it was very cold outside. The keeper of the animal's quarters made a fire in barrels so that the temperature would not become unbearable for the animals. Unfortunately, one of the barrels was accidentally knocked over and caught fire. Everyone was running and screaming in an attempt to get the animals out. The circus master noticed he did not see the elephants. He yelled to the keeper, "Where are my elephants". The keeper replied, "Oh don't worry about the elephants. They are confined in their quarters by a small stake. When they see the fire, because they are big and strong they will pull up the stake and come out to safety. The circus master said, "Oh, no!" The elephants have been on that stake ever since they were little elephants and did not realize their strength. And until this day, the same type of stake is able to secure them. See, the elephants do not know that they are strong and powerful. They only know that the stake controls their ability to be free. They all ran to the elephant's quarters and brought them to safety.
This is a WOW (Will Overcome Whatever) moment for me. The elephant is one of the strongest animals in the world; however, his mind can become so conditioned that he does not know his own strength. Knowing your identity is very important; it can make you or break you. Your identity is who God says that you are. It doesn't matter what mama, daddy, teachers, or others have said, but what did God say. Knowing your identity will determine how you operate in life, your thoughts, and your actions. Like the elephant had been conditioned to think he was weak; the same thing has happened to many of us. Our thoughts have been altered concerning our identity. Now, we are where the sum of where our thoughts have brought us and will be tomorrow where we allow our thoughts to take us. The outcome of your life depends on how and if you embrace your identity.
Before you were formed in your mother's womb God knew you. He sent you into the earth with everything that you need to enjoy the abundant life that Jesus purchased for us. We have power, authority, and dominion in the earth. It is time for us to rise up in our God given strength and be who God created us to be. Recognize, that we are in spiritual warfare. It comes in many ways; attacking our health, family, finances, churches, jobs, and the list goes on and on. Know that you have power to pray and to speak into your situation in Jesus name. God has entrusted you with weapons that are not of a physical nature from this world. But, mighty weapons through God to pull down every stronghold...everything that attempts to hold you hostage in life.
Jesus, has sent the Holy Spirit that we may be free. There is no stake (sickness, disease, marriage, finances, children, etc..) that can hold us. The Holy Spirit empowers us so that we can walk in kingdom authority with power and dominion. Beloved, you are stronger than you think. Tap into the power of the Living God on the inside of you. He empowers you to walk in your IDENTITY! Know who you are... You are a beautiful, anointed, powerful, destined, purposed, fearless, Woman of God! Yes, We are who God says we are! Hallelujah!
