Faith + Hope = Renewed Strength You can HOPE AGAIN!
2 Corinthians 1: 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us.
When I was a little girl I remember riding in the car with my siblings and cousins, we would play a game; the object of the game was to be the first one to identify the nicest, biggest house or the fanciest car. I could would hear us yelling throughout the ride.... "That's my house!" "That's my car!" As children, we had big dreams. We saw ourselves living in nice homes, driving nice cars, and enjoying a great life. We also dreamed of a life of good health. We believed we would live to see old age like we witnessed from our grandparents or other relatives. When we were children, we could believe God for anything! When we were sick, we believed through the TLC and prayer of our parents; we knew would be fine.
Then we grew up and began to see life differently. When obstacles stood between us and fulfilling our dreams, we began to loose hope. Because we faced many disappointments in life, our hope diminished more and more. Many of us, have evolved to a place that simply is void of hope. This is why many of us when we received a cancer (or other) diagnosis, we were not sure that TLC and prayer would work this time. Because of circumstances, we have become numb, afraid, and experience hopelessness.
I remember talking to a friend that thought she had thyroid cancer. The doctors had performed a biopsy and ran some tests. When I spoke to her about prayer or trusting God, her response left me speechless momentarily. She said, "I don't believe it will work for me". Her thoughts were, since she had not done everything right previously, she did not have "The Right" to ask God to help her. She had become hopeless and afraid. Often, these two emotions run close together and will paralyze you.
It's tough to go on without hope. It is just as important to hope in God as it is to have faith in God. Every trial is an opportunity to increase our faith in God. Hope + Faith = Renewed Strength.
She eventually allowed me to pray and share healing scriptures from the bible with her. My prayer was that her faith would be increased and that she would hope again. She received renewed strength. Later that week, the results of the biopsy showed NO Cancer!
I encourage you to put your hope in His word and allow the hope of God to flow into you. You may not have dotted all your "I's" or crossed all your "T's", but He loves you. Remember there is a real Person (God the Father) behind each and every one of these promises. He promised them to you to help you! God's hope, encourages, motivates, and keeps you on the road to faith, peace, victory, and healing.
The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. (Psalm 147: 11) God wants you to hope again, to trust Him again. Regardless of what you have been told, begin to confess the scriptures from the bible over your life and expect change. Begin to hope again in God who provides all things!

You Give Me Hope with Lyrics Ryan Kirkland
Meditate On:
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress. I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God, He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. (Psalm 62: 5-8)
