JEHOVAH-NISSI "My Banner of Victory and Hope"
FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY
Mark 9:29 So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."
In
the book of Mark chapter 9: 17 - 29, there is a story about a man and
his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms.
The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples
prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out
the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told
the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him
who believes." The man responded, "I believe, but help me with my unbelief." The bible says that Jesus commanded the unclean spirit
to come out of him and enter him no more. The spirit responded by
leaving immediately and the boy was healed, delivered, and set free. Jesus, when
asked by the disciples why they were unable to cast out the spirit,
said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."
As we fast and pray today, believe that God is a very present help in the time of trouble! According to the bible, there are some situations that will not change except we fast and pray. The word of God says that we have not because we ask not. Ask God to heal your body of all sickness, infirmities, and disease. Get rid of any unbelief and believe only. Make the decision today to stop being afraid to ask God to heal your body. Your healing is not predicated on prior sins that you may have committed. God is faithful and plenteous in mercy. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and begin to believe Him for your healing. God dropped this powerful revelation in my spirit and I have been reciting it all week. Expectation + Anticipation = Manifestation. We must expect God to move on our behalf, add anticipation (begin to look for evidence), and we will see the manifestation of our healing. We can raise our banners; and wave them as a declaration that the Lord God is our Banner of victory!
Exodus 17:15 And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The Lord is my Banner.
Jehovah is translated as "The Existing One" or "Lord!" This denotes a God who reveals Himself unceasingly. Nissi means "Banner". Moses recognized God as being a banner during the time of war with the Amalekites. He built an altar named Jehovah-Nissi (The Lord our Banner). In battle, nations would fly their flag on a pole on their front lines. This gave the soldiers a feeling of hope and a focal point. This is what God is to us: a banner of encouragement to give us hope and a focal point.
Raise your banner today and make the declaration out of your mouth, "Jehovah-Nissi is My Banner of Victory and Hope!" Because of Him; I am Healed, Set-Free, and Delivered!
Listen: Kurt Carr "I've Seen Him Do It"
Meditate: 2 Corinthians 2:14 But I thank God, who always leads us in victory because of Christ. Where ever we go, God uses us to make clear what it means to know Christ. It's like a fragrance that fills the air.
I am a Pink Treasure and I am living Life on PURPOSE!
Love you to LIFE!
