WHO ARE YOU? You are a treasure...fearfully and wonderfully made...
Psalms 139:13-14 You made my whole being; you formed me in my mother's body. I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. NCV
Monday' Inspiration and Meditation
Listen To: I know who I am - Israel & New Breed
Meditate On: Psalms: 139: 1-3 Lord, you have examined me and know all about me. You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know my thoughts before I think them. You know where I go and where I lie down. You know thoroughly everything I do.
Great day and welcome to Pink Treasures blog! I am Deborah Tulay, the CEO and Founder of the God inspired PINK Treasures Foundation. Several months ago, God spoke to me two words, the first was "TREASURE" and later the word "PINK". I did not understand at that time what He was saying but He later revealed the mission to me. The overall mission of Pink Treasures Foundation is to inspire, uplift, and encourage women on a journey to health and wellness. The blog is one vein of fulfilling our mission. Although it was birthed out of a cancer journey, it is not confined to minister only to those facing cancer. The words of inspiration, encouragement, and prayers speak to all infirmities and diseases.
A TREASURE is a valuable person or thing such as a collection of money or jewels. It is something that you take great care of because you believe it is of great value or important. The color PINK symbolizes "unconditional love and nurturing." Every woman regardless of social status, age, color, height or weight is a treasure. You are important and you are valuable. You are a nurturer, you are loved and you express love. Oftentimes, when we face a debilitating sickness or disease, we do not "FEEL" valuable. Because of side effects from medication, or the disease itself, we go through many changes. Our hair, complexion, skin, and other features may change. Sometimes, when we look in the mirror, we no longer look like the person we were before. We may not feel like or find ourselves unable to engage in life as we had before. Sometimes, it is because of physical limitations, and at other times it is due to depression or anxieties associated with the illness. It is during these times, that we must remember who we are.
On good days or bad days we are PINK Treasures. WE are not defined by a trip to the beauty salon, clothes we wear, jewelry we adorn, length of our hair, color of our skin, or any other physical thing! The sum total of who we are is much more than that! We are fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image and in His likeness. He has a planned destiny for our lives. The treasure is found in our "internal person" the part that no one else can see, unless we allow it to shine externally. If we will allow it, our inner beauty (internal person) will shine through and reveal the treasure within. This inner man guides us in how we respond to our current situation and to those around us.
I encourage you today to allow the treasure inside to shine in the midst of the adversity you may be facing today. Shine Treasure Shine, through adversities with sickness, disease, finances, marriages, or children. If this seems difficult right now, pray and ask God to transform your mind by His glory. Begin a passionate pursuit for Him and seek to be in His presence. There you will find out who you really are. You are a Woman; A Treasure; A PINK Treasure.
I am Deborah Tulay and I am a PINK Treasure!
Love you to LIFE!
