FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY

Mark 9:29  So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."

In the book of Mark chapter 9:7 - 29, there is a story about a man and his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms. The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."  The bible says that Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to come out of him and enter him no more. The spirit responded by leaving and the boy was healed, delivered, and set free. Jesus, when asked by the disciples why they were unable to cast out the spirit, said, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting."

This is our reference scripture for "Fast and Furious Wednesday!" 

Fasting is afflicting our body from that which it desires most...FOOD. When coupled with prayer, fasting releases the power of God in our life to destroy the works of the enemy. Sickness and disease are spirits and a curse under the law. We are no longer under the law, but under grace because of the new covenant. Jesus bore our sickness on the cross and because of His shed blood we can receive our healing by faith. Prayer coupled with fasting is the spiritual atomic bomb that our Lord has given us to destroy the strongholds of satan. Although, in most cases we fast from food, you can fast from other things that would cause you to afflict your flesh (cause you to be uncomfortable). Such as: TV, Electronics, Facebook, Twitter, Sweets, or Sweet Drinks...etc... It is wise to always ask your doctor for advice before engaging in a FOOD fast.

Wednesday Prayer

 

Heavenly Father, The HOLY, ALL POWERFUL ONE. You are King of All Kings, and Lord of All Lords. I reverence your holy name. There is none like you and none compares to you. You and you alone are great and greatly to be praised! If I had ten thousands tongues, I could not praise you enough. With the power of your words you spoke and created the earth, the sky, the stars, the moon, and the sun. You are so amazing!

I thank you for this day that you have made; I will rejoice and be glad in it! I thank you because You love me.  You are my father and I am your child. You created me in your image and in your likeness. Before you formed me in my mother's womb, Father you knew me! That is so awesome to me! I thank you for the benefits that are mine according to Psalm 103:3, You forgive all my sins and heal all my diseases.

Father, I thank you for salvation and forgiveness of sin. My sins are forgiven past, present, and future. Hallelujah!! I bless your name because you are my Redeemer and my  Healer. I praise you in advance for healing me!

I plead the blood of Jesus over my body and the body of every sister on a cancer journey, or facing any other health challenge. I declare and decree on this day that our bodies are healed from every manner of infirmity, sickness, or disease. I speak to every organ, cell, nucleus, membrane, and to the blood stream and I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to line up with the word of God, and to function properly with no diversions. I call you to support efficiently our bodies as it operates in good health. I command any and all medications to treat only the necessary areas of our bodies without any adverse side effects. 

Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. I stand on the word of God, and believe God for our healing today in Jesus name. We are The Healed of the Lord and we walk in divine health.

Lord, Thank you for our healing in Jesus Name!
