BELIEVE, CONFESS, AND RECEIVE!

John 15: 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I remember the day like it was yesterday. The weather was beautiful outside. I got off from work early, picked up my son, and headed to the Women's Diagnostics Center. It was May 18, the Friday before Mother's Day. So, why women all over the nation were planning Mother's Day festivities. I was waiting to hear my fate. It was on that day, shortly after four in the afternoon, that I received the diagnosis. It was breast cancer. I could not believe it! Me and cancer in the same sentence.... Unbelievable.
A few weeks later, I shared my prognosis with one of my closest friends. She began to cry. I asked her why she was crying. I am sure it had a lot to do with the fact that our co-worker had passed away a year earlier following a breast cancer battle. I asked her not to cry. My words to her were, "When they look again it will be melted or dissolved." I believe in the power of God to heal and I knew how important it was for my words to line up with what I believe. That was at the beginning of the journey.
There are times in our lives, regardless of how much we love, we are loved, how much money we make, what car we drive. or where we live, there are somethings we just can't fix. In times like these, we become well aware of our how much we need God's help. Family, friends, loved ones, doctors...as much as they would like to; they don't have the power to heal. We need Jehovah Rophe..our Healer.
Our relationship with our spiritual Father is very important. Think about this; if you were to ask your natural father for something and he was able to give it to you; would he withhold it from you? Probably not... Well there is no probablys in God. John 15:7 encourages us to abide in Him and He will abide in us. Then we can ask what we will in faith according to His word and it will be done. Trust God to deliver you from what you are facing. I declare and decree on this day, you are healed and delivered from sickness, disease, and infirmities, in Jesus name. He is able!  Believe, Confess, and Receive! Oh, and about the melted or dissolved....those were the exact words spoken by my surgeon concerning the pathology report! God is Good! Try Him; He's waiting on you.

Thursday's Inspiration and Meditation

Listen to:   Jesus at the Center       Israel Houghton
Meditate on:   Psalm 61: 1-2
Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You. When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher that I.
