HE Sees My Affliction

Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. NKJV Friday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: Again I say rejoice -- Israel Houghton Meditate on: Psalm 31:7 I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul. ESV This is the day the Lord has made. Choose to rejoice and be glad in it! The word rejoice means to feel joyful; be delighted; and to be glad. This is a command that has been given to us as believers. Your question may be, "How does God expect me to feel joyful, delighted, or glad". "Doesn't He know what I am going through"? "Doesn't He know about my pain, my fears, and my struggles". "Does He even care"? You may experience similar feelings, and have similar questions on your journey to health and wellness. A cancer journey or a health challenge of any kind can cause your faith to be shaken. When our ...

Pity Party Cancellation!

2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to your name. Thursday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: I'm Not Ashamed--Free Chapel Meditate on:  Psalms 35:28  And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all day long. Everyday, there is another woman going in for a follow-up test, an ultrasound, or a biopsy. Everyday someone's life is changed forever.  On yesterday, I accompanied another sister to the doctor for a biopsy. On the way there, we made small talk. I tried to entertain her and make her laugh as often as I could. I saw the concern in her eyes and  could hear it in her voice.  I knew she was trying to be brave. And, I could remember those feelings all too well. It has been a little over a year since I experienced similar emotions on the day of my biopsy. Although we believe in God, and trust His word, it still grips y...

HEAL OUR LAND

FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY Mark 9:29  So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Wednesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Heal Our Land -- Planet Shakers Meditate on:   2 Chronicles 7:14  If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. In the book of Mark chapter 9:7 - 29 , there is a story about a man and his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms. The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."  The bible says that Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to come out of him and ent...

Positioned For My NEXT

John 5:8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. Tuesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  If He Did It Before....Same God-- Tye Tribbett Meditate on:  John 5:15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. The bible teaches us that God is the same, yesterday, today, and for evermore. He is the same God right now, as He was back then. Our God still heals, delivers, and sets us free. Believe the bible and have faith that God sees our conditions and that He will answer our cry. Believe by faith, that you are next in line for your breakthrough, your healing, your deliverance, your miracle, or your promotion. The word next means the first or soonest occasion after the present, immediately afterward. In our scripture, we see a paralyzed man that had come to a pool desiring to be healed. He had suffer...

PARADIGM SHIFT

Hebrews 12:12  For this cause let the hands which are hanging down be lifted up, and let the feeble knees be made strong. Monday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Shifting The Atmosphere-- Jason Nelson Meditate on: John 8:11b  Go your way and from now on do not sin again. A paradigm shift is a change from one way of thinking to another. It is revolution, a transformation that is driven by agents of change. As I look back on my life, since being diagnosed with breast cancer, I see that my life has changed forever. I now see life from a different perspective. Many of the things that I took for granted, I now appreciate at a greater level. I have learned how to stop and smell the roses. I remember spending a lot of time in my life working. I would work sometimes six or seven days a week with little rest. In times past, I have worked a day shift on a Saturday, then returned for the night shift on that Saturday night so that I could be at church with my family on...

My Name is VICTORY!

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Friday's Inspiration and Mediation Listen to:   My Name is Victory-- Jonathan Nelson Meditate on:  2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight Have you ever watched a soccer game? You have two opposing teams that want to experience the joy of victory while their opponent experiences the agony of defeat. They believe they are winners, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to win (except things that cause a foul or a hands ball). Sometimes, they run and kick the ball, and other times they engage the ball with their head, knee or chest. Their ambition is to get the ball into the goal more than the other team, and walk away from the field as the winner. Right now, you may feel like an opponent on...

STILL BELIEVE

Isaiah 53: 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Thursday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Still Believe-- Kim Walker   Meditate on: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. As we meditate on our scripture for today, BELIEVE!  Remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Think about how he endured the pain and suffering of being beaten all night. Remember, the lashes he took on his back. These stripes were administered by whipping his bare back the same as with any  prisoner. His hands and feet were bound rendering him helpless. The whips used were made of braided leath...

Expect the Great!

FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY Mark 9:29  So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Wednesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Expect The Great--Jonathan Nelson (YouTube)   Meditate on:  Hebrews 11:6   Without faith no one can please God. Anyone who comes to God must believe that He is real and that He rewards those who truly want to find Him. NCV   In the book of Mark chapter 9:7 - 29 , there is a story about a man and his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms. The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."  The bible says that Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to come out of him and enter him no more. The spirit resp...

"Out of the Ordinary" Creates "The Supernatural"

I Kings 17:2-4  2Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah; 3"Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there. Tuesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: Order My Steps-- GMWA  Women of Worship (YouTube) Meditate on:  Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is like a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and are safe. In I Kings 17 we find the prophet Elijah facing an impossible situation. There was a drought and no water in the land. Because of  the wickedness of King Ahab and his wife Jezebel, he told the king it would not rain for the next few years unless he commanded it. As the waters began to dry up, God gave Elijah directions that included specific instructions. He told him to turn eastward and to get out of sight at a ravine east of the Jordan. There was a brook there to provide him with wat...

Strength for ALL Things

Philippians 4:13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. AMP Monday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Turning Around For Me-- VaShawn Mitchell Meditate on:  Philippians 4:6  Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. AMP When we give birth to a baby, it is a special, surreal moment in our lives. Most of us can remember, the first time we held our little bundle of joy. I am sure, it was truly an indescribable moment. All truth is parallel and the same way we give birth in the natural, we give birth in the spirit. We are sent into the earth, born of a woman. When we arrive in the earth, we have everything inside of us that it takes ...

A Trip on A Ship!

Luke 8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. Friday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh) - Juanita Bynum Meditate on: John 1:11-12 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. One day Jesus and His disciples took a trip on a ship. The bible says, Jesus said to the disciples, "Let us go over unto the other side of the lake." While they were traveling, Jesus took a nap. While Jesus was sleeping, there was a storm on the lake;  the boat began to fill with water, and they were in jeopardy of drowning. Now come with me, take a moment and imagine that you are a leaf on a tree. You are overhanging a white water rapids body of water. One day, the wind was blowing extremely h...

The SEVEN Most IMPORTANT People in YOUR LIFE

I Samuel 18:1-4  As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day and would not let him return to his father's house. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul. And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, and his armor, and even his sword and his bow and his belt. Thursday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to: Because Of Who You Are - Vicki Yohe Meditate on: Deuteronomy 31:6 Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, He will never leave you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Being victorious does not mean you will not go through. But you can expect the BEST outcomes from the WORST circumstances! But in order to receive those outcomes, often involves a process of change. Your desire to change must be greater than your desire to stay the same. I was ...

We have the authority to "BIND and LOOSE"....

Matthew 16:19  And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven" Wednesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:    As it is in Heaven-- David and Nicole Binion Meditate on: Matthew 18:18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.   In the book of Matthew Chapter 16, Jesus was having a conversation with the disciples. It had been a long week and they had witnessed Jesus in His awesome ministry. He had fed the multitude with two fish and five loaves of bread, He had made it possible for Peter to be a water walker, He healed a woman's daughter, and he healed those that were lame, blind, dumb, and maimed. Jesus was truly moving mightily in the earth! In verse 19, after dialogue concerning Jesus' identit...

It's All About My PURPOSE!

Jeremiah 29:11-13  For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me when you search for me with your whole heart. Tuesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   My Destiny -- Stephen Hurd (YouTube) Meditate on: Jeremiah 1:5  Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. In the bible, the book of Jeremiah records scriptures that give reference to our very existence in the earth. We can concur from these passages of scripture, that everyone that is here in the earth was in the mind of God even before they were created. God orchestrated your birth even before your parents met and your mother got pregnant. We have been sent into the earth with PURPOSE and DESTINY . PURPO...

DANCE D-Don't A-Allow N-Negative C-Circumstances to E-Erase your JOY!

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Monday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Everybody Dance--James Roberson (YouTube) Meditate on: Psalms 30: 10 - 11 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me; LORD, be thou my helper. Thou has turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness. On this Sunday a year ago, I was preparing for my second chemotherapy treatment. The first infusion on the previous Monday, went without any complications. Before beginning chemo, I opted not to have a port inserted, but to have the treatments through my veins. The oncologist agreed to do it intravenously using my veins alone as long as the veins held up. He prescribed an aggressive treatment plan to treat the Triple Negative Breast Cancer that had invaded my body. So,every other Monday, I spent 3-5 hours at the chemo ...

Remove The Mask

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12  Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. 10 For is they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone. 12 Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. Friday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Finish Strong - Jonathan Nelson (YouTube) Meditate on:   Matthew 18:19-20 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." NKJV A sweet lady that I recently met that was diagnosed with breast cancer, has been such an inspiration to me! I do not know her personally, but I follow her story. She is empowered by a positive attitude as she ...

FACING THE GIANT

I Samuel 17:47  "Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD's, and He will give you into our hands." Thursday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:   Giants  Donald Lawrence (YouTube) Meditate on:   Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. The Serenity Prayer God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. When David was yet but a young boy, he made a decision that angered his brother and baffled many. He decided to take a stand against a giant that was almost twelve feet tall. This giant was larger than life and had threatened King Saul and the children of Israel. Day after day, for forty days Goliath stood on a hill, and challenged  the Jews. The challenge:  Gol...

PTP SHAKES THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS!

FAST AND FURIOUS WEDNESDAY    Mark 9:29    So He said to them, "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting." Dr. Myles Munroe- The power of fasting (Watch this 7min video on YouTube) Wednesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Shekinah Glory Ministry - Like Never Before (YouTube) Meditate on: Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful is the person who comes over the mountains to bring good news, who announces peace and brings good news, who announces salvation and says to Jerusalem, "Your God is King."   In the book of Mark chapter 9: 17 - 29, there is a story about a man and his son. His son had been sick since birth with epileptic like symptoms. The father described his son as having a mute spirit. The disciples prayed, but the problem was yet unresolved. They were unable to cast out the unclean spirit. When Jesus took control of the situation, he told the told the father, "If you can believe, all things are possible to...

FAITH THAT "KICKS"!

Joshua 1:9  Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Tuesday's Inspiration and Meditation Listen to:  Joy, Joy, God's Great Joy   Kirk Franklin (YouTube) Meditate on: Psalm 30:5  His anger lasts only a moment. His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may last for the night , but joy comes in the morning. Where ever you go in life, always know that God is with you. He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. When on a journey to health and wellness, there may be times that you feel as if you are all alone. There is nothing more painstaking than the feeling of fear that may overtake you when facing what seems like an insurmountable mountain of an illness. There are many diseases and illnesses that the very  name of the disease causes fear to arise. Cancer is a diseases that its name  often shakes the foundation ...

Stop the "STINKING THINKING"

And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.  Job 42:12 Monday's Inspiration and Mediation Listen to:   Facts Are, Truth Is-- Richard Smallwood & Vision (YouTube) Meditate on:  Joel 2:25  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.  The most important thing when battling a diagnosis of cancer or other disease, is your faith, network of love, strength and support. Believe me, a positive, optimistic attitude truly can make all the difference. Each of these components are identified in the book of Job. In the beginning pages, we find the story of a man enjoying his life with a wife, children, health, and wealth. But in the second chapter, we find Job's condition in life has change...
