We have the authority to "BIND and LOOSE"....

Wednesday's Inspiration and Meditation

Meditate on: Matthew 18:18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
 
In the book of Matthew Chapter 16, Jesus was having a conversation with the disciples. It had been a long week and they had witnessed Jesus in His awesome ministry. He had fed the multitude with two fish and five loaves of bread, He had made it possible for Peter to be a water walker, He healed a woman's daughter, and he healed those that were lame, blind, dumb, and maimed. Jesus was truly moving mightily in the earth!
In verse 19, after dialogue concerning Jesus' identity,  Peter spoke up with the correct answer. Jesus is The Christ, the son of the True and Living God!  As a result of his answer, Jesus said to Peter "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. He also gave power to bind and to loose. He said, whatever they bind on earth would be bound in heaven and whatever they loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. In the original text, they were expected to pray KINGDOM Prayers that would be in direct coordination to what was happening in heaven.  It would be necessary for them to remain in relationship with Jesus and  tap into the Kingdom of Heaven in order to know what to pray. We can activate this same principle in our prayer life today. This scripture in no way means that God has to obey our commands, but that He lovingly allows us to know His will, thus giving insight as to how we should direct our prayers. He reveals his will to us through prayer, reading His word, and sometimes He uses other people.
A key represents a badge of authority and it is used to open doors. Keys of the kingdom, was faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that Peter would use to preach the gospel in Acts Chapter 2. We must operate in faith.The scripture concerning binding and loosing is recorded twice in the same book! This is powerful because it is a double reference! God is so amazing; He confirmed His owned word! Jesus was giving the disciples revelation concerning the spiritual authority they have in prayer. We have that same spiritual authority today. When we pray God's will, we can utilize our God given authority  to bind things and loose thing in the earth according to what's in heaven. According to the bible, every thing that has been bound in heaven, we have the right to bind them in the earth.  There is no sickness in heaven so we have the right to bind sickness in the earth. There are trees in heaven for the healing of the nation, so we can loose healing in the earth. When we connect this type of prayer with fasting it is like a spiritual atomic bomb. It releases a powerful force in the spirit realm against the kingdom of darkness.
When we fast, we afflict our body from that which it desires most...FOOD. When coupled with prayer, fasting releases the power of God in our life to destroy the works of the enemy. Sickness and disease are spirits and a curse under the law. We are no longer under the law, but under grace because of the new covenant. Jesus bore our sickness on the cross and because of His shed blood we can receive our healing by faith. Prayer together with fasting will break the strongholds of satan. Although, in most cases we fast from food, you can fast from other things that would cause you to afflict your flesh (be uncomfortable). Such as: TV, Electronics, Facebook, Twitter, Sweets, or Sweet Drinks...etc...

Fast and Furious Game Plan
If medically able, refrain from food. Drink water and fruit juice only from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. If you have to eat for the sake of medications or other treatments, fast from one of the examples above or whatever it would take to afflict your flesh.
  1. Read aloud Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18  and meditate on these scriptures.
  2.  Pray and believe. If there is any sin, ask God for forgiveness. For unbelief, ask God to remove it and Believe Only.
  3.  Take authority over your body and bind the infirmity in the name of Jesus. Now, loose healing in your body from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.
  4. Believe it by faith and begin to speak that you are "The Healed of the Lord." See yourself healed, delivered, and set free. 
I set myself in agreement with you today and believe God for your healing!
