My Name is VICTORY!

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Friday's Inspiration and Mediation
Listen to:  My Name is Victory-- Jonathan Nelson
Meditate on:  2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight

Have you ever watched a soccer game? You have two opposing teams that want to experience the joy of victory while their opponent experiences the agony of defeat. They believe they are winners, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to win (except things that cause a foul or a hands ball). Sometimes, they run and kick the ball, and other times they engage the ball with their head, knee or chest. Their ambition is to get the ball into the goal more than the other team, and walk away from the field as the winner.
Right now, you may feel like an opponent on your journey to health and wellness. The opposing team is trying to win, but YOU must BELIEVE that you are VICTORIOUS and see yourself winning. Your thought process must be, I will do what I must to win. Your feet are engaged as you travel to doctors appointments, imaging centers, and blood labs. But, like the soccer player, you also have to engage your head, your knees, and your chest.

 A Winning Strategy For Victory

Head-- Engage your head with correct thinking.
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] (AMP)  God always leads us to triumph in Christ Jesus, therefore we always win! Jesus won the victory for us at His death, burial, and resurrection....

Knees-- Set time aside daily for prayer
Philippians 4:6  Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (NLT)  The cure for worry is to trust God and pray daily making your request known to him. (You may not be able to physically kneel, however, your spiritual posture in prayer should still be from a place of humility).

Chest-- Your chest covers your heart which symbolizes your mind, will, and emotions.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (NLT) The peace of God helps us to stand fast and not be moved in the midst of our trial.

Know that your victory is not by power, nor by might, but by the spirit of the Lord! You are a winner in Christ Jesus; Your Name is VICTORY!
