When we give birth to a baby, it is a special, surreal moment in our lives. Most of us can remember, the first time we held our little bundle of joy. I am sure, it was truly an indescribable moment. All truth is parallel and the same way we give birth in the natural, we give birth in the spirit. We are sent into the earth, born of a woman. When we arrive in the earth, we have everything inside of us that it takes to fulfill our destiny and our purpose. Oftentimes, we never reach our full potential because of the environment in which we grow up. Instead of pouring out in the earth all of our gifts, talents, and abilities to fulfill our potential, we walk in fear, unbelief, and low self-esteem. The enemy does everything he can to prevent us from reaching our destiny in the earth. I never realized what was truly on the inside of me until my misery produced this ministry!
God allowed me to carry PINK Treasures on the inside of me, and at the appointed time it came forth. It is a like a new baby that has been birthed in the earth. And I am still waking up for feedings, burping, changing diapers and rocking this beautiful newborn God has released to edify His body. Thanks to those of you who have helped to feed, nourish, change and clothe this new baby by your prayers, love and financial support. It is has been two months and one day since Pink Treasures was released for public ministry. As I look back over the last twelve months, I realize that my cancer journey has changed my life forever. My perspective on life is no longer the same! A fire and a passion has been ignited, and I know I am a PINK Treasure and I must live life on PURPOSE! What the enemy meant for bad, God has truly turned it around for good! Hallelujah!
I was born the daughter of a baptist preacher and a woman that was looking for love in all the wrong faces. Don't get me wrong, I loved my mother dearly; and even today I cherish all the memories. She was a great mother. I knew who my father was... but that is all. I grew up feeling embarrassed about being born as an illegitimate daughter of a preacher. I struggled with low self-esteem. It was not until I received Jesus as Lord and Savior that God ministered to me that I was not guilty. It was not my sin, and I was not to be ashamed because my birth was not an accident. I cried like a baby when he ministered to me that He had sent me into the earth with destiny and purpose.
I rejoice today not only because of what the LORD has done, but because of what He is doing! PINK Treasures is only 2 months old, but God has allowed it to reach people all over the world. In the next few weeks, PINK Treasures will host 2INSPIRE, a faith based support group. By the month of August, we believe God, that we will be able to sow gas cards in the lives of those undergoing treatments. We stand on, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
There is power in the name of Jesus, and all sickness, infirmity, and disease must bow to His name. I encourage you to know, regardless of what you're facing right now, God wants to use your situation for His glory. You're about to give birth to something great! What the enemy meant for bad, God is turning it around for your good!
God has given us strength for ALL things. It does not matter what you are facing right now, but know the God we serve is all seeing and all knowing. He loves us; despite what it looks like, feels like, or seems like. Right now your situation is turning around; It is turning around!
Believe by faith that it is working for your good and expect God to reveal to you the purpose that's in your pain, and the ministry that is being birthed from your misery! Thank you Lord for all you've done!
